Well, hello and welcome!

Who doesn’t like wearing nice clothes, eating good food and having money to spend on the finer things in life? They’re pretty common goals, yet they’re not always that easy to achieve. Not everyone can cook well, or put together a great outfit and we’d ALL like to have more money.

meI’m Hannah and I’m a mum and founder of startup marketing agency Upmarketry, living in Berkshire. Having spent a lot of my career working in personal finance, I’ve learned a lot along the way about spending/saving my money wisely.  I’m also a keen cook and love to eat out so I’m really passionate about good food.

In terms of fashion, well I’d like to think that after 31 years on this planet, I’ve developed a way of dressing which not only adheres to most of the latest trends but also flatters my size and shape. What’s more, what once filled me with dread – clothes shopping – is now a sheer delight.

Finally, there’s fun and family. In the last three years I’ve achieved a lot of my life goals: I bought a house, I got married, I reached a leadership level in my career and I had a baby.  I’m not saying I’m going to prescribe on this blog how I did all those things, but I am pretty damn content with my life right now and what I’ve achieved and if I can share advice or experiences that other people can benefit from in some way or another, then that’s got to be a good thing, right?

Now I appreciate that, by covering a very broad range of topics, not every blog post will be of interest to every reader. However, if one or two of the topics are, I’d love for you to follow this blog (and forgive anything irrelevant!).   There’s a link to do that below in the footer, as well as links to my Facebook page, twitter and instagram feeds.

Thanks for reading xx
